	Your Maine adventure begins with a picturesque drive along coastal Route One, offering opportunities to visit flea markets, antique shops and galleries along with many scenic turnouts. After turning on to Route 15, you will make your way through bayside Blue Hill to the village port of Stonington. The Stonington mail boat company's "Miss Lizzie" awaits you for a late afternoon departure to Isle au Haut, a 45 minute cruise through myriad pristine islands. Check in is off the late afternoon boat ONLY and is as follows: May 31 through June 14 (Mon. - Sat.) Depart Stonington 3:30 pm June 16 through September 6 (Mon. - Sat.) Depart Stonington 4:30 pm September 8 through September 30 (Mon. - Sat.) Depart Stonington 3:30 pm July 4th and Labor Day Depart Stonington 3:00 pm IMPORTANT: Please arrive at the boat dock early. Boats leave on schedule. Arrive and check in with the captain at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure. Please do not arrive on an earlier boat and expect to check in — only boats with scheduled guests are met at the town dock. If you do take an earlier boat you would be on your own until our vehicle arrives at the dock to pick up incoming guests as scheduled.
